Estate

Quinta da Sapeira is located in Leiria, central coast of Portugal, in the Estremadura region, with the long wine territory traditions of the Encostas D`Aire demarcated wine region.

With nine hectares of vineyards, Quinta da Sapeira grows some of most noteworthy traditional Portuguese grapes: Touriga Nacional, Castelão, Aragonez, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Fernão Pires and Arinto. These, combined with a terroir with gentle slopes, flanked by spontaneous pine and eucalyptus forests, contribute to the enrichment of aromas and essences of grapes and to obtaining high quality wines.

It is the property of a family of winemakers who have already spent every day for three generations writing pages of a history, made of a lot of persistence, dedication and love for the land.
Family values continue to take a leading role in the "art" of making our wine. The commitment and affection we put into everything we do, coupled with a knowledge of experience accumulated in close collaboration with nature is revealed in each bottle of Quinta da Sapeira.

It is in this spirit that we adopt a commitment to management practices that minimize the environment impacts of viticulture activity, adjusting our entire production to the Integrate Production system.
Thus, Quinta da Sapeira is taking on its social responsibility and contributing to agriculture and a sustainable future.
